We partner and fund/co-fund the development of the MVP. Many entrepreneurs struggle with the lack of resources to fund their proof of concept. There are several stages of funding. At COGNIS IT-ADVISORS, we assist entrepreneurs with the seed funding.
COGNIS IT-ADVISORS has developed proven success strategies tested over time. Most entrepreneurs (and especially ones from underrepresented communities) spend so much time in their business that they don’t have the time to work on their business (and this inhibits growth). COGNIS IT-ADVISORS (along with its’ partners), will play either role (in/on) and help develop processes to measure outcomes.
Opportunity Identification
COGNIS IT-ADVISORS and partners act as a virtual sales organization and cast a wide net when it comes to identifying opportunities for sales and/or strategic partnering. COGNIS IT-ADVISORS revenue is obtained by active participation in the growth process (versus a simple fee based system). COGNIS IT-ADVISORS differ from other consulting firms, as it has a vested equity stake.
At COGNIS IT-ADVISORS we provide mentorship in order to improve the success rate of start-up enterprises. African Americans more than any other group are in dire need of experienced mentors relating to technology and entrepreneurship. Many are focused on capital raise (and capital doesn’t come with instructions), so the need for good mentors who’ve been through similar experiences is relevant.
